libsvm3-java software package provides Java API to support vector machine library (libsvm3.jar), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsvm3-java
libsvm3-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsvm3-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsvm3-java *
You will get with libsvm3-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
